Your Motorhome Buying Guide

BLOG >> Your Motorhome Buying Guide

Looking for an upgraded RV camping experience? A motorhome is the perfect solution! Motorhomes are spacious, comfortable, and amenity-laden, so you won’t miss any of the comforts of home even when you’re out in the wilderness. Here’s what you need to know before you buy the motorhome of your dreams.

Know Your Class

Motorhomes are divided into three categories, called “classes.” It’s important to know which class will best meet your needs in terms of overall space and the number of passengers you can bring along.

Class A motorhomes resemble a bus and they’re the longest and largest motorhomes by far. With a total length between 30’ and 45’, and a wide body that allows for slide-outs, Class A motorhomes are roomy and ideal for full-time living on the road or for traveling with a big family.

Class B motorhomes resemble a large van and they’re the smallest type of motorhome available on the market. Class B models are ideal for couples or solo campers, as they don’t have much interior space and their features are on the simpler side.

Class C motorhomes resemble a truck and they tend to fall in between Class A and Class B models in terms of size and offerings. “Super C” motorhomes are a diesel version that tends to run bigger. Most often, you’ll find amenities comparable to those on a Class A motorhome on Class C models.

Consider Amenities

Motorhomes come with a range of amenities, including luxurious features such as bathtubs, fireplaces, multiple entertainment centers, Bluetooth speakers, and residential-style kitchen appliances. However, not every motorhome will have every potential amenity, so you’ll need to prioritize what features matter most to you and your family.
